In 1996 the three founding directors, Colm Brennan, Conor Crowley and David Robb decided there was a better way to deliver financial advice in the Irish market. Quitting their jobs, they took the leap and set up their own financial advisory company, Acumen & Trust. Shortly afterwards Ciaran Martin joined to expand the service offering to include Employee Benefits expertise.

From small beginnings of four men with a vision twenty years ago, to a trusted and recommended financial advisory firm, now with over forty employees, providing Financial Planning and Employee Benefits services to over 2,000 individual and 400 corporate clients and managing over €650m in assets. It’s thanks to the continued support of our loyal clients, some of whom have been with us since we started, that we are able to celebrate this milestone of being 20 years in business.
