Ireland Gateway to Europe

Ireland Gateway to Europe

When Ireland was battered by austerity, four Irish businessmen joined forces to create Ireland Gateway to Europe (IGTE), sending out the message that this country was open for business. Post-Brexit, the organisation is putting us on the map.

As former President of Ireland, Dr. Mary McAleese said “The Ireland Gateway To Europe group are here to establish the new narrative about Ireland… that we’re leading the pack in Europe yet again.”

Established in 2012, Ireland Gateway To Europe (IGTE) is a not-for-profit collective of Irish service providers who showcase Ireland as Europe’s premier investment location through events in the U.S.

The IGTE vision is to provide companies seeking to expand into Europe with a secure resource network for business expansion, and access to an experienced, professional network of service providers.

The network of providers that make up IGTE include relocation and acquisition specialists, taxation and accounting services, legal services and HR advisors for employee benefits, pension compliance, staffing, and recruitment of which we are very proud to be a part of.

According to Fionan O’Sullivan, Corporate Sales Director at Acumen & Trust “Once the decision has been made to set up in Ireland, the business will succeed or fail depending on the people that are employed from the outset”.  At Acumen & Trust, our expertise lies in helping to put an effective employee benefits package in place that will attract and retain the best employees for U.S. companies setting up in Ireland.  We will design a best in class benefits solution that is flexible enough to grow as the business grows and that is competitive in the market.
